Our stay at this amazing retreat was mind-blowing! The communication was super prompt and helpful, especially when we had a stressful delay on our journey. The property itself provided jaw-dropping space for our group, with a huge living area, spacious bedrooms, and a large dining table. We were thrilled to find a well-equipped kitchen, free parking for our three cars, and even a hot tub to enjoy in late December. The whole place was beautifully decorated with lots of lovely finishing touches. We strongly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Although the retreat provided a great space for relaxation, it was situated next to a busy-ish road, which might bother light sleepers due to the occasional traffic noise.

We were lucky to find this place last minute and it turned out to be a fantastic stay. She even communicated promptly when we faced a delay due to a windscreen wiper failure. The property itself exceeded our expectations with its spaciousness and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a diverse group of ages from 13 to 79, and everyone found the accommodations suitable. The highlight was definitely the hot tub, which was a delightful treat in late December. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Always stay at the best place in Lydney. Great staff, they even printed tickets for me once. Has Wi-Fi, parking, kitchen facilities, TV. Quick check-in/out. Perfect for activities like hiking,cycling,canoeing,fishing,horseback riding,golf. Outdoor dining area and Jacuzzi. , cots and board games available. No smoking on site. Can't wait to come back!

The room at Country Lodge Retreat was absolutely lovely! It had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The two bathrooms fitted with showers were a great convenience for freshening up in the morning.

Personally, I found the bed a bit too firm for my liking. But hey, everyone has different preferences!
